Early morning band = no sunlight

Even though colllege band has been really fun so far, I would have to say that there is one aspect of it that is MUCH worse than high school band.

In high school, early morning band practice was law, and everyone was forced against their will to attend. In college, I would almost KILL to be able to attend just ONE early morning practice, as opposed to two stinkin' (literally) hours in the scorching afternoon heat.

I have been sunburnt since August 18th, which was the first day of band camp this year. I would almost swear that I have peeled at LEAST nine layers of dead skin off of my "Rudolph" nose.

Sunburns stink.
